What is a Cash Mob you ask? A cash mob is a new trend aimed at supporting local businesses. The concept is simple, with $15 to $20 in hand, members of a community come together on a specific day at a designated time to shop in a local establishment to show support and help boost the local economy. Did you know that for every $100 spent in independently owned stores, $68 of it returns to the community through taxes, payroll, and other expenditures? Keeping our money local makes our economy stronger and benefits everyone. Cash Mobs are popping up all over the country, part of a larger trend to "buy local".
