The Nassau County SPCA is now offering a $1500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of this 8 week old kitten. All About Spay Neuter,Inc. was working with a Sunset Blvd. Massapequa resident  on a TNR project when the resident noticed on July 30th that this kitten was injured.The kitten was trapped on August 2nd, taken by All About Spay Neuter, Inc. to a veterinarian where it was discovered that it was shot with a pellet gun. Due to the nature of the injuries this 8 week old kitten had to be humanely euthanized.

 Anyone with information on this act of animal cruelty is urged to

It is a violation of New York State animal cruelty laws to cause harm to feral cats or trap them and abandon them at another location.

Located in Nassau County, New York, The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a 501(c) (3), nonprofit organization originally designed to protect animals in the county from abuse and neglect, and to provide basic welfare.
