Hello Everyone:

I am so glad to have the chance to get back on the road again. Three years ago I formed the National Non-GMO Health Movement and as most of you know I spent the entire year of 2013, going back and forth to 15 states to build my audience and provide basic self-sufficiency and survival skills.

What most of you probably don't know is that I never sat out to become a health speaker, trainer or educator.  It just happened after I battled my own illness and was able to save my ownself. 

I have never been a selfish person and you know I would have been selfish not to share all the wonderful health information that I learned while curing my ownself. 

The year 2013 was a test to see which areas embraced my ideas and wanted me to return to work with families and the community.  I have been in Tampa, FL for 6 months and I will be leaving Tampa in a few days and venturing to Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville to visit friends and on June 7, 2014 -- I am asking everyone to meet me in Dallas, TX so we can discuss some options to move your community forward.

The black community have been lectured to death so if we are really serious about saving black folks, it's time for some serious ideas to come to the table. 

I will be starting the National Community Action Empowerment Think Tanks on my way to Philadelphia where I will be for 6 months as I hold events in that area and in the Midwest. 

We have organizers on the ground in the Midwest planning events for Columbus, OH, Youngstown, OH, Cincinnati, OH, and St. Louis, MO - so add your city to this tour.  

By December 2014, it will be my goal to move to California for 6 months.  My goal coming to Tampa, Florida and getting off the road for 6 months was to hold events in the community but one of my main goals were to visit friends in Orlando, Jacksonville and Miami.  I lived in Miami for 5 years before moving to Atlanta in 1994 and haven't been back in 20 years so I am looking forward to seeing all my friends.  

Miami was a very happy time in my life and I think many people need to go back to times when they were happy in their lives in order to recharge and regroup.

My other main goal for getting off the road was to get Cathy Harris TV and my audiobooks together.   In 2013, when I left Atlanta and spent a year on the road and traveled to 15 states, many of my audience participants were asking about my audiobooks so in an effort to give my customers and clients what they really need and want, I knew I had to produce my audiobooks.

Even though it was goal to leave Florida with 9 audiobooks, I was only able to get out 3, however, it was still a productive 6 months because I released two paperback books "Golden Years: How To Age Gracefully and Take Care of Seniors" and "Diabetes 101: 3rd Largest Killer." 

I was also able to release 3 audiobooks, Police Interactions 101: How To Interact With the Police in Your Car, On the Streets, In Your Home, Diabetes 101: 3rd Largest Killer and How To Write A Book: The Complete Guide to Writing and Selling Your Own Paperback and E-book. 

After the audiobooks, my company, AngelsPress.com, will work on Powerpoint Presentations and start webinars as I travel throughout the U.S. with the National Community Action Empowerment Think Tanks and Mobile Training Centers in order to form business alliances and strategic partnerships with other trainers on the ground.

I am also hard at work on another book "The New CEO: Top Businesses for Youth And Adult Entrepreneurs" which contains a list of 300 easy to set businesses.  The book will be released as an e-book, paperback and audiobook in the next 30 days.

Eating GMO foods causes premature aging and since Californians are obsessed with aging, I will also need to finish up the e-book, paperback and audiobook version of "Forever Young: How To Reach Your Maximum Level of Health While Looking Good and Feeling Young."  

After I was able to help make changes in the U.S. Customs Service for black women international travelers as a whistleblower, I never thought that I would have another mission in my life but I have been called on again to help everyone lead healthier lives. 

As much as I would like to help communities start businesses, unless they put their health first, it will be impossible because "Your Health is Your Wealth" and "You Can't Be Wealthy, Unless You are Healthy."

Save Our Children?

Are you naive to what's really happening in this country especially with our children?  Can we save our children? Children are dying everyday at an alarming rate. You might not hear about it because you are too busy watching TV or listening to shows like CNN which is nothing but a Weapon of Mass Distraction (WMD).

In the CNN interview Donald Sterling accused Magic Johnson of not giving money to children's hospitals after he made the comment that children are lined up in beds at hospitals in hallways waiting for an available room. So everyone but you know that there has been an explosion of sick kids in this country over the past few years especially because of GMOs. 

Have you been to a children's hospital lately? Most children under the age of 15 are dying from cancer and car accidents because only 1 out of 4 kids buckle up. Most African American kids are dying from car accidents, homicides and suicides.

Because children have undeveloped and weak immune systems, they are prone to many more illnesses and diseases and their delicate systems can't tolerate GMO foods which have no nutritional value and causes depression.

How can you expect for children to grow into healthy adults if the foods they are eating have no nutritional value? Remember the foods are made from bacteria and fungus, and pesticides and herbicides...which are heavy metals which causes ZOMBIE-LIKE symptoms and turns off the brain.

Since this is the first generation that will not outlive their parents, it's unfortunate however, but it will take many kids dying in their parent's arms before they wake up to try to save the rest of their family. 

Just Some Health Issues With Children:

-1 out of 50 kids are born with autism. Two years ago that figure was 1 in 120 and in 20 years it's estimated that every other male child will be born with autism.

 -1 out of 6 kids are learning disabled. Over 60 to 70% of kids are dropping out of school in some areas because of their inability to think, learn and act because of heavy metals in GMOs.

Blindness

Being able to see or having good eyesight is one of the greatest privileges and pleasures that people have especially as they age. Blindness is a major problem in many communities and it is also the reason many kids are not doing well in school. 

I will never forget when my daughter was in the 3rd grade when she told me to tell the teacher to stop writing with pink chalk -- so I realized that my daughter needed glasses.  

As a matter of fact both of my daughters have always worn glasses. I guess they took their eyesight after their father who also wore glasses as a young boy.

I can't believe how many people I have connected with over the past few years who are now "legally blind" and have been since their late 40s or early 50s.  Many seniors are suffering from night blindness which means they can't drive a car after dark. 

India has the highest blind population in the world and the main reason for this is GMOs. India was the testing ground for GMOs in the early 90's so if you eat processed foods containing GMOs, you are just not risking your health but your eyesight.

Can We Save Our Families With 

'Old Folks Remedies?'

Getting our kids and families back on Old Folks Remedies can very well save our families. There are many reasons why this is the FIRST GENERATION that will not outlive their parents. One of the main reasons is that this generation stopped using Old Folks Remedies on their families.

I will never forget when my father would line all of us up (my 8 sibilings) and give us castor oil and black draught laxative because even then our ancestors realized how important it was to have a daily bowel movement because your health then -- and now -- begins in your colon. 

If you are not having a daily bowel movement, you are already moving toward disease because at any moment you still have 3 meals in your body and as long as food stays in your body, the more you will be at risk for forming a disease -- so it's important to have one or two bowel movements every day.  

This is also why it's important to cut down on meats and eat the right types of meat because meat stays in your body for 3 days. The problem is most people who are eating processed foods containing GMOs and especially meats are going up to 5, 7, 10 and even 14 days WITHOUT a bowel movement. I have even spoken to people who have said they have not had a bowel movement in 30 days.  

The best way to keep your bowels moving is to drink plenty of water, exercise and eat fresh, raw organic foods containing fiber daily.

Are you a solo business owner and your business has grown to include one or more employees and you're looking for ways to expand your reach without generating a lot of debt? Well the answer to your dilemma could very well be it's time to form "business alliances" or "strategic partnerships" with other

businesses.

Your company may have started out as a solo business and you still want it to remain that way but you need to see the value in making connections and joining forces.

Most businesses go out of business within the first 5 years. A reason for this is because many business owners never find ways to build or grow their businesses, therefore, they go out of business.

With the current state of business today, small businesses need to always be strategic and "think outside the box."

A "business alliance" is an agreement between businesses, usually motivated by cost reduction and improved service for the customer.

A "strategic partnership" is a formal alliance between two commercial enterprises, usually formalized by one or more business contracts but falls short of forming a legal partnership, or agency, or corporate affiliate relationship. In big business - alliances are often bound by a single agreement with risk and

opportunity share for all parties involved.

In many cases, alliances between companies can involve two or more categories or types of alliances: 

• A "sales alliance" occurs when two companies agree to go to market together to sell complementary products and services.
• A "solution-specific alliance" occurs when two companies agree to jointly develop and sell a specific marketplace solution.
• A "geographic-specific alliance" is developed when two companies agree to jointly market or co-brand their products and services in a specific geographic region.
• An "investment alliance" occurs when two companies agree to joint their funds for mutual investment. 
• A "joint venture alliance" occurs when two or more companies agree to undertake economic activity together. 

Joining forces with another company can allow your business to finance certain services or production functions by sharing expertise, assets, expenses and risk without necessarily incurring cash debt.

Many business alliances and strategic partnerships may offer great opportunities for financing some advertising and distribution expenses so it just makes sense to join forces.

A business alliance or strategic partnership can be an arrangement between two companies that combine resources to gain additional business. They can be formed when one company alone cannot fill the gap in serving the needs of the

marketplace. It involves two companies that pool together expertise and resources to enter new markets, share financial risks and get products and services to the market faster.

Some alliances or strategic partnerships are formal written agreements -- others are informal as a handshake. With the internet, some alliances are entered into after several email exchanges, even without the physical meeting of the parties

concerned. Some alliances involve sharing of resources and an exchange of funds and others are as simple as a cooperative marketing arrangement.

Whatever their structure, one goal prevails -- these alliances or partnerships are opportunities for small businesses to accomplish things that would otherwise take much more money or staff time.

Typically two companies form a strategic partnership when each possesses one or more business assets that will help the other but that it does not wish to develop internally.

One common strategic partnership involves one company providing engineering, manufacturing or product development services, partnering with a smaller, entrepreneurial firm or inventor to create a specialized new product.

Typically, the larger firm supplies capital, and the necessary product development, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities, while the smaller firm supplies specialized technical or creative expertise.

Another common strategic partnership involves a supplier/manufacturer partnering with a distributor or wholesale consumer. Rather than approach the transactions between the companies as a simple link in the product or service supply chain, the two companies form a closer relationship where they mutually participate in advertising, marketing, branding, product development, and other business functions. An example includes an automotive manufacturer may form strategic partnerships with its parts suppliers or a music distributor with record labels.

Strategic partnerships raise questions concerning: 1) co-inventorship and other intellectual property ownership, 2) technology transfer, 3) competition, 4) hiring away of employees, 5) rights to business opportunities created in the course of

the partnership, 6) splitting of profits and expenses, 7) duration and termination of the relationship, and many other business issues. Remember even though legal partnerships are not formed, the relationships are often complex as a result,

and can be subject to extensive negotiation.

For small businesses, these alliances often consist of simple bartering with customers, suppliers and even competitors. There are several other groups you can partner with. Employees can leave their companies and form a partnership with their employers if they see potential partnership opportunities.

Many entrepreneurs can partner with their customers if they are selling a substantial amount of product to one company. It also makes sense to join forces with non-profit organizations such as trade associations, non-profit groups, local community organizations, etc. Even at times it might be best to partner with a competitor. You can work hand-in-hand with a competitor over contracts that may be too large for you to handle by yourself.

Remember as you consider forming business alliances and strategic partnerships - always try to partner with groups that can add value to your business, not just money. To clear the air, it always best to put any type of agreement in writing. Always make sure these businesses are on the same page as your business and that they operate with integrity.
