It's funny how a simple idea can become a special "moment." I thought it was appropriate to pray over
Emilie Menz on Sunday since she has agreed to step into leading our worship team.
I noted that Emilie is more than someone with a good voice but a strong woman of faith and has been used by God to lead worship and pastor in other churches. When I prayed for Emilie, the band unexpectedly gathered around Emilie to join me in prayer. It was a great sign of support and the congregation showed their support as well.
What a nice way to welcome Emilie into her position. Thanks for your graciousness. Like I said on Sunday, it's not easy to step into the shoes of someone like Pastor Sten. But we are confident Emilie will do a great job leading us in worship.

New Position, New Person: I'm amazed and grateful that we have been able to fill so many staff positions in such a short time with such great people. We had one more position to fill, that of Office Manager. This position was created because Stephanie Demers, our Business Administrator, has cut back

to half time and working from home. The Office Manager will cover the duties that Stephanie no longer covers.

Jodi Kadinger has accepted our offer to join our staff as office manager. Jodi
has 27 years of office management experience and staff oversight. We think she's a perfect match for our staff. Please welcome her when you see her.
