Mother's Day at Cedarbrook was great. We celebrated all women, not just moms, and I shared a special blessing for all women. You can read it or listen to it in the message.

What Does the Bible Say About Women?
I mentioned on Sunday that my message was taken from a three part series I did years ago called "Putting Women in Their Place." Click the link to download it and learn more about what the Bible has to say about the role of women.

Announcing Two New Hires to Our Staff:  I'm excited to announce that we've added two new people to our staff:

Mitch Haaby  will join our staff as an  Associate Pastor with his primary role in Youth Ministry. He served Rosseau Covenant Church as a Youth Pastor before attending North Park Seminary, where he just graduated with his Masters of Divinity degree. Look for his family July 1.

Lara Garner. Lara is somewhat new to Cedarbrook but ju mped in with both feet. She is actively engaged in the community and has gone on a Living Waters mission trip. Lara will serve our church as a Ministry Assistant.

We are still in the process of hiring an office manager. Stay tuned!

I will continue with my overview of the Bible this Sunday. I hope to see you there.

Remy

p.s. If you are one of the many new people at Cedarbrook, please join me for the Discover Cedarbrook lunch on May 21st! Read about it below.
