A Taste of Avondale and Forest Park

Meet and greet the pioneers who have made Avondale and Forest Park what it is today. Guests will enjoy live music as local restaurateurs and brewers showcase their signature foods, cocktails, and beverages during a tasting competition. Proceeds support REV Birmingham and the Avondale/Forest Park streetscape plan.

 

Opera Birmingham Gala
February 26, 6-10 p.m.

Celebrate 61 years of Grand Opera in Birmingham and meet famed modern-day composer, Ricky Ian Gordon, who will present a cabaret-style performance of musical selections. The evening begins with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction, followed by a seated dinner prepared by Corretti Catering and a live auction with Dr. Andrew S. Duxbury.

Get ready for an evening of dinner and dancing with chances to participate in live and silent auctions. This ball is Camp Smile-A-Mile's largest annual fundraising event with proceeds supporting children with cancer. Attire is black-tie.
