Leaf season is beginning and we love it!
A few more artists have recently delivered to the new
indigenous craft gallery so we're starting to really feel at home in our new space.
With fall comes the national celebration of American Craft Week. The festivities start today - with artful, crafty events happening all over the country at artists' studios, galleries, and arts organizations. Check out our ART RAFFLE Fundraiser for Empty Bowls and a lovely Jewelry Trunk

dynamic handmade collection.
We've had just over a dozen

social media pages (especially facebook) for more details and the artful events we are planning!

Join us as we celebrate the wonders of American craft by recognizing the enduring value of handmade by sharing our dynamic handmade collection with you. During the Celebration of
American Craft Week you can peruse the new gallery, enjoy the
Jewelry Trunk Show by Nora Catherine, & help raise money for
Empty Bowls by taking part in our
ART Raffle Fundraiser.
This 10-day event is the largest celebration of handmade craft in the country, last year encompassing events in all fifty states! Everyone who is involved with craft, whether by making, selling, or celebrating it, is invited to join. The basic idea behind this celebration is to spotlight the wonderful work America's craftspeople produce and all that craft contributes to our country. For more info, visit americancraftweek.com.
From the organizers ~ "Now in its eighth year, ACW is the nation's largest celebration of handmade American craft. We began with a simple idea: what if EVERYBODY who makes, sells, exhibits, teaches or celebrates American craft - what if we ALL did something at the same time to spotlight an aspect of amazing American craft?
What if we ALL tell the world what craft creates for America: jobs, vibrant communities, economic growth, and an exceptional national heritage and a beautiful aesthetic for our homes and public places."
This is one of our favorite times of the year as
American craft is WHO WE ARE!
