DANCE This!
|
August 4-10, 2013, Grades 9-12A week of dance and choreography for dancers of all levels At Dance This students get to try out a whole variety of dance styles in one intensive week. It's a cool way to learn. And it's fun to do it with other dancers who are also learning something new. Imagine if you are primarily a ballet dancer and you have the chance to move with the athleticism and abandon of African dance...or the attitude of hip-hop! Another piece of the program is learning how to create your own style of dance. Participants say that working with choreographers such as Amy O'Neal has helped them to have the confidence to move in new directions.
