Celebrate #IWD2017
International Women's Day - EWF Briefing
Join the Executive Women's Forum (EWF) in celebrating International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women since 1908. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

As the EWF celebrates our 15th anniversary this year, we are thankful for all the amazing women and men who have helped us sustain and grow!

Over the past 15 years, the Executive Women's Forum has been committed to the important mission of engaging, developing and advancing women leaders in information security, risk management and privacy. Along with our members, Corporate Benefactors, and Sponsors we have worked to improve the representation and advancement of women in our field.

The EWF and its members understand that the under-representation and under-utilization of female talent is both a critical business issue and a hindrance to the development of world class cybersecurity organizations and resilient companies, as well as the overall safety and protection of our country.

The EWF has been committed to advancing women for the past 15 years. Here's what is new for 2017:

Women in Cybersecurity Report - The EWF is a co-author of the 2017 Global Information Security Workforce Study: Women in Cybersecurity Report. Alta Associates is a proud Gold level sponsor. Our hope is that you are both educated and inspired by the results of this study to join us in improving the representation and advancement of women in cybersecurity. The results of the study will be available on March 15th. Check out our website to view the study at http://www.ewf-usa.com.

LIFT As You Rise Mentoring Program -  The EWF is making a significant investment to support our members in their career development and advancement. Upgrades to the program and platform will allow us to grow while delivering a more customizable and effective mentoring program for all our EWF members.

Multicultural Women InitiativeWe are including diversity & inclusion into everything we do - Cheer Dinners, Regional Meetings, Mentoring, Cybersecurity School Challenge, and our National Conference in October. We are working with a steering committee to define a long term strategy that will help us to continue to grow in this initiative.

Rising StarsMillennials play an important role in the EWF and the cybersecurity community as a whole. The EWF values our millennial members. We've been engaged with these rising stars for several years. In 2017, Shira Rubinoff will be leading the charge to continue to engage and rolling out special programs for Millennials.

Thank you for your support!
