    Benji Lovitt presents a hilarious picture of Israel by deconstructing cultural differences and the immigrant experience in Israel. Benji's energy and enthusiasm will make you laugh out loud as he sheds light on embarrassing Hebrew mistakes, Jewish holidays, and exactly what makes Diaspora and Israeli Jews different from each other.
4:30 PM: Yom HaZikaron Memorial Ceremony
Yom HaZikaron commemorate Israel's Memorial Day, the most
solemn of days in Israel.  On this day we remember fallen Israeli
soldiers and victims of terrorism. Please join us in honoring them.

5:30 PM: Yom Ha'Atzmaut Torch Ceremony
Celebrate Israel's 69th Independence Day with a brief ceremony.

6:00 PM: Traditional Israeli Dinner
Our menu is falafel & pita, hummus, tahini, Israeli salads and desserts. Cost is $7 a person; $3 ages 4-10; kids 3 and under free; or $25 per family. Reservations for dinner are requested in order to ensure we have prepared enough food for everyone. RSVP to 574-233-1164 or emilyb@thejewishfed.org.
