All Saints Day Celebration
Honoring Women Witnesses for Racial Justice

Sr. Nicole Trahan, FMI will lead this inspiring time of prayer, reflection and song. Jim Carr, who served as our musician for the St. Mary of Magdala celebration, will lead us in song.

We will hear the words of Black Catholic women saints and listen to the words of Black Catholic women today as they lead us in reflecting on the meaning of the Gospel and the work for racial justice.

The Black Catholic Women we honor in our new series, Women Witnesses for Racial Justice, believed wholeheartedly in Catholic social teaching and its embrace of universal humanity. Black nuns pushed the church to be truly Catholic and to do what it said it did for all people.

Join us on All Saints Day as we celebrate the faith and witness of Black Catholic Women and enter more deeply into the riches of our Catholic heritage where Women Witnesses for Racial Justice shape our faith tradition and challenge us to work for reparative justice -- in the Church and in the world.

We look forward to being with you!
