WOMEN OF THE ELCA CELEBRATES 30-YEAR MILESTONE IN JUNE
Women of the ELCA will celebrate a milestone in June--- 30 years of ministry, Linda Post Bushkofsky, executive director of the organization, said to the synodical women's organization presidents gathered in Chicago, Feb. 16-19. Read the story here.

WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH PHEBE?
Phebe Hospital, founded by the Lutheran church in 1921, in partnership with the Methodist and Episcopalian churches, serves approximately 450,000 patients a year.

The initiative, called "PV for Phebe" (PV stands for "photovoltaic," the process by which light is turned into electricity), aims to raise $624,000 to provide solar energy to the hospital.
