Did you see that Blue Moon! We hope you were able to bathe some stones in that moonlight. The dust is flying around here. We've found things that haven't been unpacked since before we moved here. You won't believe what all we've dug out for the Yard Sale this coming weekend! Not only amazing minerals at yard sale prices, but also fixtures, displays, lights and such treasures plus furnishings from our sister company TOPS (Texas Office Products & Supplies) including chairs, bookcases, trash cans, file cabinets, misc. office supplies and surprises. What fun this will be!
Can you believe it's been a year since our first Rock Fest on Nature's Treasures Day, August 8th? We're ready to have more rockin' fun this Saturday with games for everyone like our special "Chakra Roll" (roll the stone sphere onto the Chakra tapetstry to match the colors), our Rock Toss (toss a tumbled stone into the bowls and get it to stay), a Rock Dig and Crafting Table for the wee ones, and Sluicing for fossils and stones outside. Win tickets for redemption at our specially stocked Prize Shop. AGMS (Austin Gem & Mineral Society) will be here again with their Wheel of Fortune and to answer any membership and rock questions. With face painting all day, and the Boteca ATX food truck arriving at noon Rock Fest will be a rockin' good time for everyone on Saturday!
Starting Wednesday, don't forget to look for the clues in our emails of where to find the 15 chrysocolla hidden treasures that will gain you entry into our Rock Fest drawing on Saturday where you might win an amethyst cathedral! Each entrant gets to keep the chrysocolla piece plus receives a $50.00 gift certificate, so, please remember it is only one entry per person.
