Enriching lives since 1967...
On March 4, Community Thread continued to celebrate  50 years of service  at our inaugural Black Tie Bingo event.
Over 180 guests enjoyed 8 games of bingo led by local celebrity callers, raising nearly $15,000 to benefit Community Thread's programs and services. A special thanks to Water Street Inn and the many local businesses who sponsored the event and donated prizes to make it a success.

Thanks to the support of our community and volunteers, Community Thread has improved the lives of thousands of adults and their families since 1967. Programs and services that are still going strong include:
  • Transportation program - 50 years
  • Volunteer Center - 49 years
  • Holiday Hope - 47 years
  • Tax Assistance - 46 years
  • Senior Center - 45 years
  • Community Involvement Awards - 42 years
Community Thread continues to make a difference in people's lives by responding to unmet needs and gaps in services - especially for older adults who wish to age in place.
We look forward to celebrating with you throughout the year!
Chore Services & Transportation - Better Together!
To better serve the people who turn to us for
support, Community Thread has brought Chore Services and Transportation together under one program.
Merging the two programs into one meets the needs of more community members, offers volunteers a chance to serve in both areas, and makes us more efficient, too! Cathy Dyball serves as the Chore Services & Transportation Program Manager, and Wendy Habib is the Chore Services & Transportation Program Assistant.
To see if you are eligible for services, call 651-439-7434 or email the Chore Services & Transportation Program office . If you would like to volunteer for the program, contact Paige Stein.
