An exciting event designed for Kindergarten graduates and their families as well as 1st grade Tigers recruited in the spring of 2015 and their families. Activities include BB guns, outdoor games, hiking and more!

It’s not too late to sign up for Cub Scout Camp. We have lots of opportunities for fun and excitement. Cub Camp Adventures offers many different camping opportunities. There are 2 Day Family Camps, and 3 Day or 4 Day Resident Camps offering overnight adventures at Cub World. There are also Community Day and Twilight Camps that offer 5 days of program with an optional family overnight at locations close to you throughout the council.

As a part of Scout Sunday in 2017, packs, troops and crews in the Dan Beard Council will be partnering with the international organization Soles4Souls to participate in a community-wide “Good-Turn” by collecting used shoes at their church. This spring, over 500 hazard trees were removed from around the campsites and program areas of Camp Friedlander. Hundreds of hours were worked by our Ranger Staff, Troops and Packs, the Order of the Arrow, and other volunteers to clean up the campsites and other areas and get them ready for Summer Camp.  Thanks to these efforts, camp will be ready for summer on schedule...Read more
