Introducing ...
Jeremy Arcus-Goldberg, the JCC’s new Outreach Director! Outreach is a JCC program, funded by The Jewish Federation of Columbus, sharing Jewish programming and activities outside of the walls of our traditional institutions.
Jeremy brings a wealth of Jewish knowledge, creativity, and program experience to this role. Prior to joining the JCC family here in Columbus, Jeremy worked for the Boston JCC and Jewish Federation organizing activities such as an outdoors club, chavurah discussions, and a movie club. He also implemented an ambassador program to encourage people to spread the word about what they loved within the Boston Jewish community. Jeremy is already working on fall programming, and the JCC’s Annual Wildlights partnership with the Columbus Zoo at Chanukah.
“I want the Jewish community of Columbus to have accessible activities throughout the city, activities where people can meet other people, get services, and find community,” Jeremy said, “I look forward to developing family programming activities in different parts of the city based on interests and what people want to do.”
Jeremy is busy meeting with community members from Northwest, Northeast, and Central Columbus to gain feedback about engagement opportunities throughout the city. Share your opinion and ideas! Contact

2017 JCC Maccabi Games
Team Ohio competed in the 2017 JCC Maccabi Games in Albany, New York from August 6 - 11. Jake Lichten, Aaron Ligator, Benjamin Rosen, and Stefan Schiff from Columbus joined other teenagers from Akron and Cincinnati bringing home two gold medals (star reporters), a silver medal (tennis) and earning three Midot Medals for sportsmanship.
