Gaynor Lecture Series August 29
Steven Weisman, Vice President for Publications and Communications at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, will discuss his new book The Chosen Wars: How Judaism Became an American Religion at 7:00 pm at the JCC for the annual Rabbi Nathan and Sylvia Gaynor lecture. The event is FREE and open to the community, but an RSVP is requested.

Introducing Becca Sigal,
New Outreach Director

Becca began at the JCC on August 6 as the JCC Outreach Director. She will create and lead programming that brings the JCC into the community. Becca has been a part of the JCC her entire life, attending JCC Preschool, Kaleidoscope, JCC Summer Camp, Swim Team and also has been involved in the larger Columbus Jewish community. She recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies.

"As the new Outreach Director, I am looking forward to meeting as many people as possible," Becca said, "I want to see what the community is missing and what it wants. We have so much to offer here. I'm excited to bring our programming to the outlying regions of the Columbus area."

Becca spends her time with her two beagles and her family and is truly passionate about being involved in the Jewish community. She can be reached at bsigal@columbusjcc.org or 614-559-6215.

"I want the community to know there is someone they can count on to connect them to community programs," Becca said, "I am here for the whole community, as an information source and a listening ear for ideas on what can connect us!"
