NEWSWORTHY
The JCC Annual Gala will honor JCC members – some that have belonged to the JCC for over 50 years. Through its transitions, growth, and transformations, our members are the reason the JCC builds community programs. Since doors opened over 100 years ago, members have grown up at the JCC, met their spouses, raised their children, and spent time socializing with friends.

On February 24, the JCC Gala will take place at 8 p.m. for a night full of nostalgic games, vintage décor, classic dishes, and memorabilia (furnished by the Ohio Jewish Historical Society) to decorate the facility. Pictures of youth teams, sports outings, Maccabi, and important JCC events will line the walls celebrating all JCC members. Over forty members have belonged to the JCC for fifty years or more. Many families have multiple generations of members who have attended the JCC preschool, JCC Summer Camps, Youth Sports, Adult Rec Leagues, or Silver Sneakers exercise classes through the years. This year, the Gala honors them and all our members, telling their stories and saying “thank you” for continued support.

Funds raised from this year’s Gala will directly support children’s scholarships, enabling families to attend the award-winning JCC Early Childhood Education program, JCC Summer Camp, youth teams, and more. Tickets for the event are now available!
