Oliver! Opens December 2
Grab your whole family and come see opening night of Lionel Bart’s Tony Award-winning musical classic that brings the streets of Victorian England to life in the tale of Oliver, a malnourished workhouse orphan who becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker but escapes on a journey to find acceptance and love.
With cast members ages seven - 77, revamped songs, and new characters, this show is sure to be entertaining family fun.

Touro College Lecture Series at the JCC
December 4 at 7:00 pm
Welcome home Rabbi Alan G. Ciner, Vice President of Touro College and University System, who will discuss "Hope in the Midst of Dispair" at the JCC College Ave. as part of a three-part educational series of Jewish learning that will bring academic resources to the community. Learn more here .

Gallery Players Side Show Auditions

Jerusalem Winner Marathon
The Eighth International Jerusalem Winner Marathon will be held on Friday, March 9th, 2018, drawing thousands of locals and tourists who come to participate or watch amateur and professional runners alike from all over the world. Set against the backdrop of Jerusalem’s magnificent views and streets filled with history, the Jerusalem Marathon is truly one of the most unique marathons in the world. Read more here .
'Hebrew Infusion' December 7
Listen to Sarah Benor, Associate Professor of Contemporary Jewish Studies at Hebrew Union College and Associate Professor of Linguistics at University of Southern California discuss the infusion of Hebrew into American Summer Camps and what it means as a representation of Israel, Judaism, camp or daily life. The free program is co-sponsored by Ohio State's Melton Center for Jewish Studies and starts at 7:00 pm at the College Ave. JCC.

Kids Night Out December 9
Celebrate Chanukah at the JCC decorating ugly Chanukah sweaters, eating latkes, watching a movie and eating popcorn 6:30 - 9:30 pm at the College Ave. JCC!

Winter Break Camp Starts December 22
Spend the day at the J 8:00 am - 4:00 pm! K - 8th graders will have fun with different themes each day including movie day, pajama day, lazer kraze, beach vacation day, bowling, and more! Cost: $60/day. Aftercare available for an additional fee. Register here or call 614-559-6251.
Pre-K Basketball Starts January 11
Young athletes ages 4 and 5 can learn basic fundamentals of basketball on Sundays, 10:15 - 11:00 am through February 18. Their gross motor skills will be developed through a variety of activities will work on their individual and team playing skills and having fun playing the game. Black Friday Turkey Toss
The JCC's first ever Turkey Toss was a festive event with over 50 participants tossing a frozen turkey. Congratulations to our winners!

Mitzvah Day at the J
Our youngest members spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving making Chanukah decorations for our sister JCC in Houston, TX that was deeply affected by Hurricane Harvey and helping serve senior lunch.
