Homecoming @ A Glance
Here We Go!
It's Homecoming Week and, for some of you, this is a whole new experience. With that in mind, several of the stories below come with extra explanations at the end. If you're a veteran parent, you may not need the extra info; if you're new to Homecoming, it might be helpful.
Homecoming Court & Information
Congratulations Homecoming Court
Congratulations to Ellie Deneen, Will Dionesotes, Lexi Jordan, Ben Holley, McKahl English, Jack Gilmore, Caroline Wieland, Owen Talbott, Hannah Kornfeld, Thomas Smith, Sarah Brady, and Daniel Broadbear.
EXTRA INFO: ALL students vote today for King & Queen in their Theology class. The crowning takes place at halftime of Friday's Homecoming Game.

Homecoming Dance Tickets On Sale Through WEDNESDAY
Homecoming Dance tickets are available in Mr. Fabrizio's classroom before school, during homeroom and after school through WEDNESDAY, October 18. Tickets cannot be purchased at the door. If you are bringing someone from another school, you must get a form from Mr. Fabrizio, fill it out ahead of time and turn it in to him when you purchase your tickets. We don’t want to send anyone home from the dance, so make sure you check out Central Catholic’s Dress Code ahead of time.
EXTRA INFO: The two big takeaways here are the dress code and tickets not available at the door. The dance itself is in our gym. Before going into the dance, students will check in, there will be random breathalyzer tests and dress code will be applied including measuring each dress.

Homecoming Week Schedule
Homecoming Week is a very fun, very different kind of week. Here is some helpful information and a schedule for the week's activities. Check it out and, if you have any questions, you know where to find me :)
One Change : There is no Music Department Cookout on Thursday.
EXTRA INFO: As long as your student keeps modesty in mind, it's hard to mess up dress up days (get it, "mess up" "dress up") Anyway, you do want to remember that many of the Homeroom Games involve athletic endeavors so, for example, throwing a pair of sneakers in a bag would not be a bad idea if your student is wearing cowboy boots or loafers on Country Vs. Country Club Day.

Friday's Schedule
8:00 a.m. Senior Breakfast (Cafeteria)
NOTE: Seniors need to be here by 8:00 a.m. for their breakfast; all other students report to their first-hour classroom by 8:45 a.m. for attendance before heading to Mass.
9:00 a.m. All School Mass (Auditorium)
10:00 a.m. Homecoming Assembly (Auditorium)
11:45 a.m. (following the Homecoming Assembly) Pep Assembly (Gym)
AFTER PEP ASSEMBLY (approximately 12:30 p.m.) Students dismissed
12:30 Several Football Players, Cheerleaders and Homecoming Court travel to Partner Schools. They'll be back at school by 2:30.
EXTRA INFO: Parents are invited to Mass and the two Assemblies. All seniors involved in fall athletics, band and choir will be introduced during the Homecoming Assembly. ALL fall sport athletes will be introduced during the Pep Assembly.

Homecoming Menu Fun
Our Cafeteria Ladies are pretty creative and they took on the challenge of creating a menu to work with our "Homecoming Through the Decades" Theme. Check this out:
Pajama Day : French Toast Casserole
Country vs. Country Club : Mini Corn Dogs, Twice-Baked Potatoes, California Mixed Vegetables & Mini Cheesecake
Decades Day : Chicken Pot Pies & Green Bean Casserole ('50's), Fritos & Lays chips (invented in the 60's), Push Up Pops (80's) & Bagel Bites (90's)
EXTRA INFO: Did I mention our Cafeteria Ladies are amazing?

Homecoming Photo Form
Here is the Homecoming Photo Order Form . Please have your student bring it, with payment to Homecoming. Our photographers will be available for photos from 8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on the night of the dance.
EXTRA INFO: Just because you would like a formal picture from Homecoming does not mean that your students knows this. Please make sure your students know to stop by the photo booth (with payment) to get that photo.
