I hope you are enjoying a safe and happy summer. We're moving closer to that first day of school (just five weeks from Wednesday!) and have some important information to pass along. . .
Important Dates For The Start Of The School Year
Here are some dates to put on your calendars as the start of our school year approaches:
  •  Sunday, August 12 (5:00 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.) New Student and Parent Orientation: All new students and parents join us for an introduction to life at Central Catholic. Our Student Ambassadors will help students with locker, computer, and schedule questions and much more. Parents will learn about academic, social, and spiritual expectations and have an opportunity for questions and answers.
  • Wednesday, August 15: First Day of School: This will be a half day concluding with Mass. More information on the schedule to come.
  • Wednesday, August 22 (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) Parent Open House: All parents are invited and encouraged to come and follow your student's schedule, meet the teachers and find out about class expectations for the coming year.
For additional important dates throughout the year, remember to check our  School Calendar .
Living the Faith Opportunity TOMORROW
St Vincent de Paul is delivering groceries TUESDAY, July 10 (tomorrow) for the mobile food pantry. Any and all help is welcome, just show up at the right time and place. They typically have two shifts:
1:30-3:00 (at Holy Trinity Food Pantry)
3:00-4:30 (at Phoenix Towers)
School Supplies
Here is a list of school supplies by class. In addition to this list, plan on spiral notebooks and pocket folders for each class and pens/pencils/highlighters for writing. If you do not see a certain class listed, that means your student will receive info on the first day of class. This is a Google Doc and may be updated again before the school year begins so be sure to check back occasionally.
