What A Week!
Catholic Schools Week is such a fun week and it ends with a beautiful Mass that reminds all of us why we have the privilege of celebrating the week in the first place. Along the way, we had our first Faculty/Staff vs. Students Volleyball game (I can't remember who actually won), my favorite day of the year - Great To Be A Saint Day with 117 eighth grade students, Spain won the Olympics competition, and Pack the Place on Friday saw our Boys' Basketball team win a thriller in front of a standing room only crowd!
High School Placement Test TUESDAY
Most of the eighth grade students who joined us for Great To Be A  Saint Day last week return to take our High School Placement test TUESDAY, February 7. Please be quiet if you come to visit us that morning; testing takes place in our commons.
DEADLINE FRIDAY: Returning Student Registration
All current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors need to register for the 2017-18 school year by FRIDAY, February 10. Registration information and forms are available online. You can fill them out on your computer, then print them or print the blank forms and fill them out by hand. Return the completed forms and the $275 commitment fee to Mrs. Fitzwater at the front desk.
New Student Registration information will be available at Showcase Central on Wednesday, February 15 and New Student Registration begins Monday, March 6.
Apply For Tuition Assistance Through March 15
We do not want tuition to be a barrier to anyone. We have something very special here and we want to share it! If you would like to pursue financial assistance there are two steps:
  1. To apply for financial assistance, including the Spalding Scholarship from the Diocese of Peoria, the FACTS Grant and Aid form must be submitted by March 15.
  2. In addition to completing the FACTS Grant and Aid form, contact your Pastor to see if there is any additional assistance your parish can provide (Please note that every Central Catholic family in our Partner Parishes already receives assistance that bridges the gap between our non-affiliated and affiliated tuition rates.)
For additional information, please email me or call 661-7000, ext. 304.
FIAT 2 This Weekend
Our second all-girls retreat is this weekend. Please keep all of the participants in your prayers as they take time out to grow closer to God and to each other.
Help Us "Showcase Central" on February 15

As you are out and about talking to families interested in coming to Central Catholic for high school (and, really, who wouldn't be?!?), be sure to invite them to join us Wednesday, February 15 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. for Showcase Central. They'll meet our faculty, staff, and coaches and learn how Central Catholic will prepare their students for college and for Heaven.

SAVE THE DATE: Madhatters Trivia Night is Saturday, March 4

Mark your calendar and start putting your team together for our annual MAd Hatters Trivia Night on Saturday, March 4. Teams can be 6 or 8 of your closest (and smartest) friends. This is a fun way to meet your Central Catholic Family. More information to come.
