Introduce Yourself: Bill Hant
What's Your Story?
Hi, my name is Bill Hant and this is my story. I was a boy in Vienna, Austria when Hitler marched into our country and the atrocities began. After Kristallnacht, we fled to Japanese-occupied Shanghai, where it was the only place in the world permitting entry without a passport or visa. None of this was easy. Still, we made a life for ourselves with other European Jews.
