Introduce Yourself: Bill Hant
Hi, my name is Bill Hant and this is my story. I was a boy in Vienna, Austria when Hitler marched into our country and the atrocities began. After Kristallnacht, we fled to Japanese-occupied Shanghai, where it was the only place in the world permitting entry without a passport or visa. None of this was easy. Still, we made a life for ourselves with other European Jews.
On Labor Day, about 40 village members and guests gathered at the home of Lorna and Mike Belman for great food and great conversation.
Analyze the pundits. Share diverse views on the news around the world. Take part in a lively discussion. Led by member Myrna Hant.
