Voter Registration Drive June Wynbrandt and Eileen Lewis teamed up at the Skirball Cultural Center on Thursday night to register voters. Not only did they engage visitors about the importance of voting on November 6th but they stayed for the kickoff of Skirball’s sunset concert series and the performance of Goapele. Many thanks to Skirball’s VP of Public Programs and ChaiVillageLA member Adele Lander Burke for making it happen.

Social Action-Register Voters at the Skirball Now that the League of Women Voters has trained ChaiVillageLA to register potential voters, we are off and running.  Our first social action site will be the Skirball Cultural Center (thank you, Elaine Deutsch) where two-member teams will help visitors register prior to Skirball’s Thursday night sunset concerts.  As a bonus, volunteers can stay for the concert and get free parking.
