First Citizens National Bank Recognizes Teammates For AAP Accreditation

On February 10, 2015, NACHA - The Electronic Payments Association will partner with the Regional Payments Associations to honor the more than 4,000 Accredited ACH Professionals (AAP) as part of National AAP Recognition Day. Celebrated annually on the second Tuesday of February, National AAP Recognition Day highlights the importance of the AAP accreditation, as well as celebrates the achievements and contributions of AAPs nationwide.  This year, NACHA, the Regional Payments Associations, and more than 1,700 organizations will be celebrating National AAP Recognition Day in unique ways across the country.

First Citizens National Bank joins NACHA in recognizing four of the bank's teammates, Janiece Wright, Kelly Seaton, Angie Sawyer andDana Ramey, who hold the AAP designation.  Judy Long, Chief Operations Officer, stated "This accreditation is supported by NACHA as a means to educate ACH professionals on new developments in the ACH network.  The internet and rapidly changing technology have greatly impacted the way cash management products and services are sold, delivered, supported and used.  By earning this prestigious designation a 'payment professional' increases their credibility and value to corporate customers.  First Citizens National Bank is very proud to have four Accredited ACH Professionals on the bank's team."

NACHA - The Electronic Payments Association manages the development, administration, and governance of the ACH Network, the backbone for the electronic movement of money and data.  The AAP credential is the standard of excellence in ACH payments competency, and it is viewed by regulators and examiners as indicative of an organization's commitment to compliance with the NACHA Operating Rules and sound risk management practices to support the safe, secure, and reliable ACH Network.
