Help Out with the Chamber Golf Outing
The annual Chamber Golf Outing is among our biggest events of the year - and we'll spend the next several weeks gearing up for this year's outing set for August 17 at scenic Crystal Mountain Resort.

The Chamber needs volunteers to serve on the Golf Outing Committee to help our all-star Event Coordinator Andi Wagenschutz plan the perfect event.  If you're interested contact her at, or if you'd like to promote your business by donating a prize for the raffle drawing. Hole sponsors are also needed. It's a great way to support the Chamber's Leadership programming.

Registration is also open for 18 holes on the resort's beautiful Mountain Ridge or Betsie Valley courses. The event includes lunch and dinner, golf and a registration gift, plus raffle, 50/50 and drink tickets. It's a great way to enjoy a day in Northern Michigan's great outdoors and support beneficial Chamber programming. Sign up here.

A PACE-setting Business After Hours
The region's senior population is growing, creating increased demand for services needed by our local residents. Tonight's Business After Hours event will highlight some of the ways the community is adapting to these changes when we visit the new PACE facility at 2325 N. Garfield Road - the former Grand Traverse County Health Department building.

PACE stands for "Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly" and is a program that primarily serves low-income seniors dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid.  It uses an interdisciplinary team approach with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, case managers and other health care professionals to develop effective care plans and services for patients and families.

Check out the new PACE facility and see what the Grand Traverse Pavilions has planned there tonight from 5 - 7 p.m. Of course we'll have all the usual BAH fun, refreshments, prizes and networking opportunities, so you won't want to miss it.
You can also click here   for directions to the PACE center.
