Register for the Chamber Expo/Outlook Breakfast
November 8 will be an important day for Northern Michigan's business community. Not only is it election day, but it also marks the date of the Chamber's annual Economic Outlook Breakfast and Business Expo, both held at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

The Chamber is pleased to welcome Chris Holman of the Michigan Business Network and Sarah Hubbard of Acuitas to headline the Outlook Breakfast, scheduled from 7:30 - 9 a.m.  Hubbard is a legislative liaison in Lansing for the Chamber and the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance, while Holman is familiar to Chamber members as the face of Michigan's leading digital business information network. Their panel discussion moderated by TraverseCONNECT CEO Doug Luciani will offer insight on how this year's unique and tumultuous political season will impact the business sector. Register now  for the event.

The Business Expo is the region's largest business showcase that annually draws more than 140 exhibitors and over 1,300 attendees to the resort's Governor's Hall.    Registration is open for theExpo, which takes place from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  It's a tremendous opportunity to highlight your company's products, services, personnel and more at this large-scale networking and promotional event. Booths are $500 for Chamber members and $800 for non-members.

Pints & Politics Welcomes County Officials
There's a lot going on these days in Grand Traverse County, and the Chamber's next Pints & Politics event will give our members an opportunity to talk about these issues first-hand with their elected and appointed county officials. Join us October 6 from 4:30 - 6 p.m. at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City. Register here.

Pints & Politics is an opportunity for Chamber members to interact with their public representatives in an informal setting and offer their input from a business perspective. The events are free for Chamber members, and our sponsors at DTE Energy will pick up the tab for you to enjoy a craft brew, soda or glass of wine. Our event in July with state and federal officials produced a great turnout, and we look forward to meeting with county officials next month.
