Chamber Board
Kicks Off 2015
The Board of the Chamber of Commerce, which usually meets once a month, held a special 3 hour session to review our accomplishments in 2014 and make plans for 2015.
The outcome: strategies to make the Chamber even more effective in its role assisting Fairfax businesses with the real issues they face, and even greater promotion of our town's diverse business segments.
How?  Have a look at the article  "2014 in Review" in this issue of the Bulletin. We want to build on that for 2015.

The Chamber's President & Executive Director meet each month with the Mayor and Town Manager to discuss issues important to the Fairfax business community. Members voice their concerns to the Chamber and we are able to present and discuss these with the Town administration.  Many positive results have occurred through this direct interface.
Here are some of the ways that the Chamber is informing its members and the public about Fairfax.

2014 Holiday Party and Silent Auction

Almost 100 members or friends of the Chamber attended the annual holiday celebration, held again this year at Deer Park Villa.  The evening was topped off with a very successful Silent Auction that raised approximately $3,000 for the Chamber through the generosity of donations from over 90 businesses or in some cases individuals.
Enabling these twin events to happen each year are, first & foremost, Ingrid Weiss who puts in huge behind-the-scenes effort, Wendy Baker and Vicki Ascher.
