RSVP for MAC Breakfast
The Junction City Military Affairs Council will host the next monthly breakfast on Thursday, January 26 at 7:30 a.m., at the Riley's Conference Center, Fort Riley. This is a joint breakfast with the Manhattan Military Relations Committee.  For Information on Fort Riley access, please visit the website.
  
As always, reservations are important. The deadline to register for the breakfast will be Friday, January 20, at 5:00 p.m.
  
Cost of the breakfast is $12 per person. New this year: military service members rate of $10! Fee is payable by check or cash at the door, or  online here . You do not have to sign in to register, and the cost is $12.00 regardless if you are a chamber member or not. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m.

Flint Hills Metropolitan Planning Orgnaization
The Flint Hills Metropolitan Planning Organization has posted Amendment #5 to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for public review and comment.

The TIP is a short-range document that identifies all regionally significant and/or federally funded projects to take place in the Flint Hills region over the next four years.
  
To review the list of projects, click here.There is a "Summary of Changes" in the appendix that identifies all changes made with this amendment.
All public comments are due to the MPO no later than December 31, 2016.

Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development helps support the SBDC in providing assistance free of charge to new and existing businesses. Services for those starting a business include business plan review, research and marketing assistance, licensing information, advice on preparing to meet with a loan officer and bookkeeping strategies. Existing businesses can receive help with finding new marketing opportunities including social media, growth/expansion, local, state and federal tax laws and regulations, trade opportunities, human resources and succession planning.
