Business Expo in the Park Registration Now Open!
 
Join JCACC on Tuesday, August 29th for the Business Expo in Heritage Park. Register your business or organization for an informational or product booth today. Registration opens on May 1st for chamber members at no cost. Non Members may register beginning June 1st: $50 for non-members in Junction City/Geary County, $200 for nonmembers outside of Junction City/Geary County. Participation is on a first come, first serve basis, as there are a maximum of 100 registrations.The first 50 are guaranteed if event is moved to the municipal building due to weather.

JCACC Member Challenge
As a valued member of our organization, you can play an active role in helping the Chamber grow its membership during the  90 members in 90 days challenge by forwarding your referrals to our membership team. By referring companies or organizations to the Chamber, you're not only contributing to the vitality of our broader business community, but also to the continued success of your colleague's business.

To thank you for each referral resulting in membership, the Chamber will offer two business card sized ads in our Chamber Chat newsletter. Additionally, the top three people with the most referrals (with minimum of five referrals) will receive two tickets to next year's Annual Dinner.

Terms & Conditions - The Chamber's 90 members in 90 days membership drive runs from May 1 - July 31, 2017. All new members must be recruited and reported to the Chamber via the Chamber's Membership Recruitment Form (available at www.junctioncitychamber.org/referral within this time period in order to be eligible for referral incentives which include advertising incentive in chamber chat and entry for two at the 2018 Annual Dinner. Drawing will be held at Chamber's Business Expo on August 29th, 2017. Qualifying participants need not be present to win.
Referrals must result in a new Chamber membership to receive rewards.

 

Meet Doppelganger Dennis
We are pleased to introduce you to our  90 members in 90 days campaign mascot, "Doppelganger Dennis," an almost life sized cardboard cut-out of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Dennis Beson.

We are asking JCACC Board Members to participate in 90 members in 90 days between May 1st and July 31st by hosting Doppelganger Dennis at their business  until he or she recruits a new member. Once a member is recruited, the board member will pass along Doppelganger Dennis to the next board member for caretaking until he or she has recruited a member. Chamber staff must receive new member application, verbal commitment of membership, and name of Board Member who referred before that board member delivers Doppelganger Dennis to the next Board Member.
Doppelganger Dennis will be making appearances throughout the 90 members in 90 days campaign.

Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development helps support the SBDC in providing assistance free of charge to new and existing businesses. Services for those starting a business include business plan review, research and marketing assistance, licensing information, advice on preparing to meet with a loan officer and bookkeeping strategies. Existing businesses can receive help with finding new marketing opportunities including social media, growth/expansion, local, state and federal tax laws and regulations, trade opportunities, human resources and succession planning. Junction City Area Chamber Partners with U.S. Chamber
JUNCTION CITY, KS - The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to provide its members with valuable new programs and services. Through the U.S. Chamber's Federation Partnership program, small business members in good standing with the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce will now receive the benefits of U.S. Chamber membership. This new member benefit is provided at no additional cost to members of the Junction City Area Chamber.
 
"The Federation program is a great partnership with the U.S. Chamber creating more value for local businesses. This allows businesses from our region to keep up with the National Chamber," Dennis Beson, President & CEO, Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce.
 
By joining the Federation Partnership, the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce is helping the U.S. Chamber's effort to build the nation's largest grassroots advocacy network. The Junction City Area Chamber will continue to focus on local issues and programs. The U.S. Chamber will alert and mobilize Junction City Area Chamber members on national issues ranging from taxes to technology to transportation. This ever-growing coalition of small businesses allows the U.S. Chamber to present a strong, unified voice for business in Washington, D.C.
