Change Is A Good Thing - New Membership Options & Networking Opportunities Coming Soon

Members:

In a continued effort to provide added value for you, we have started the process of revamping our membership packages. The membership committee has been hard at work restructuring member benefits into a tiered system. Instead of paying dues based on the number of employees you have, you will now be able to select a membership package, a la carte, based on benefits that are important to you.

While all of the details are still being ironed out, we're excited to launch this new system later in the year that will both better serve you and help us further our mission - "businesses building a better community." Stay tuned for information announcements regarding this change coming soon.

One of our newest networking opportunities was held last Friday. The first inaugural Java & Jeans was hosted by Minuteman Press - Plant City and was a fantastic event! We're happy to provide this causal morning time networking opportunity and thank Minuteman and their team for being so hospitable. Be sure to join us at May's Java & Jeans hosted by South Florida Baptist Hospital on Friday, May 25.

On Tuesday, April 3rd The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Florida Girl Tanning Co. Spray Tan & Beauty Boutique located at 2806 James L. Redman Parkway, Suite #204. Florida Girl provides luxury spray tanning & women's waxing along with skincare and lash treatments. They love helping women feel more confident & beautiful as well as providing a healthy and convenient alternative to traditional tanning and waxing.

On Thursday, April 5th The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a joint ribbon cutting with the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce for True Plumbers at their new headquarters located at 4000 N. Frontage Road!

Leadership Nominations Now Open

Nominations for Leadership Plant City are now being accepted. Leadership Plant City is an annual course organized by the Chamber to develop long-term leadership in the community. Leadership Nominations will be accepted through Friday, June 29th and from the list of nominations, 12 program participants will be selected.

The 2019 program dates are September 21 though May 17, 2019. If you know a rising leader in our community, please take a moment to nominate them now.
