All are invited to join the students and families of Cornerstone United Methodist Church for a special night of magic on Wednesday, May 3. A pizza dinner will be served beginning at 5:15 p.m. and Jett Skrien will dazzle everyone with his magic tricks at 6:00 p.m. Jett is a professional magician that specializes in both close up and stage magic for all ages. Jett will even have items available for purchase. A free will offering will be taken for the meal; the magic show is free and open to the public. Cornerstone United Methodist Church is located at 202 North 4th Street in Marshall.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your lives the past 8.5 years! The time has flown by, and it has been some of the most rewarding years of my life. You have made owning a retail store more than I could have ever imagined! Thank you for the friendships that have been made over the years. I will miss seeing all of you. Thank you for allowing me to look like a hero donating to all the organizations and individuals I was a
ble to donate to because of your loyalty. Shopping local makes a huge impact on that! How many local donations does your on-line shopping provide? We are excited to announce that we are selling the store to a local couple, Jessica Hilgemann and Lucas Hilgemann. They will be taking ownership of the store May 1st. They have so many new and exciting ideas for the store and will continue to provide you with the best shoes and fashion along with great customer service. Be sure to stay tuned in the upcoming weeks, as she has lots of great events and promotions already planned. A huge thank you to all my great employees over the years! These young ladies are the best of the best! We have had so much fun holding events like our annual Crazy Days sale, the Walkabout, Moonlight Madness, Shoe-per Bowl, etc, etc. They have worked their tails off in order to make these events successful! They work really, really hard! Bless you gals! Finally, to put the rumor mill to rest. We are not moving. I am going to be able to spend more time with my wonderful hubby and other family and friends! You all know how much my adorable grandsons mean to me! Again, a heartfelt thank you for everything! Life is good! No, life is GRAND!

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines and Policies
Newsletter Goals and Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our members' events with
other business and community members. It is an informational newsletter and helps to promote
our member businesses and their events.
Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to
the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.
Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
- Events flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We do not include sales or promotions.
- Events can be included in the E-Connection for 2 weeks Free of charge, and you have the option of adding one additional week for $10. 3 weeks is the max per event.

Submissions must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's
E-Connection to be included to [email protected]
- All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only.
Any Chamber member businesses events can be submitted to the Chamber website as well
here. Click submit new event.
