This donation based class is designed for anyone who currently practices or has an interest in practicing yoga. Summer is a great opportunity to take your practice outside and enjoy nature.
At Marshall Yoga Shala, we are passionate about sharing yoga for all. This is the second year we are offering this class as a way to share yoga with our communicty. Donations fromo these classes help us to provide free yoga to new students and discounted yoga for students and seniors.
This is a one hour class and will be held weather permitting. Bring sunscreen, water, and a yoga mat or large towel.

SMAC New Executive Director

Southwest Minnesota Arts Council   selects Nicole DeBoer as next Executive Director

Marshall, MN (June 19, 2017): The Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that they have selected Nicole DeBoer to serve as its next executive director effective July 1, 2017.
 
Nicole DeBoer brings over 25 years of leadership and creative management experience, coupled with a passion for growing communities through the arts, to her new role as Executive Director at Southwest Minnesota Arts Council. With 7+ years as the SMAC Grants Program Assistant, you have likely met Nicole at a workshop or talked to her by phone about potential art projects. Prior to SMAC, she was Creative Director for The Schwan Food Company leading corporate marketing initiatives from an art perspective. In her spare time, Nicole has been involved in the arts as a visual artist, graphic designer, volunteer and supporter.

Nicole is excited to continue upholding the mission of SMAC, enhancing life in our region by supporting artists, arts organizations and anyone else who wants to improve their community through the arts.

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines and Policies

Newsletter Goals and Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our members' events with  other business and community members. It is an informational newsletter and helps to promote  our member businesses and their events.
Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to  the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.

Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
  • Events flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We do not include sales or promotions.
  • Events can be included in the E-Connection for 2 weeks Free of charge, and you have the option of adding one additional week for $10. 3 weeks is the max per event.
  • Submissions must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's
    E-Connection to be included to [email protected]

  • All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only. 
Any Chamber member businesses events can be submitted to the Chamber website as well here. Click submit new event.
