OUR GRILL DONORS...

Century Bank, Chaplinwood, Exchange Bank, Beckham's Used Cars & Courtney Tollison

We sold 200 butts and have heard nothing but praise about the cooking!

Thanks to our new "cooking comrades", Dixie-Que BBQ Team, and the help of our master chef volunteers (who stayed all night), we were able to pull this off successfully. The Chamber staff hopes everyone enjoyed them over Thanksgiving break!

What's next?  We were thinking of hosting a Chicken-Que...but we want to hear from you on the date.  Click here to let us know what time of year is better for you...

GC Students and Faculty

volunteering for MLK Jr. Day!!

Each year, Georgia College acknowledges Martin Luther King Jr. Day by sending students out across the Milledgeville community. This year, they will also have students from Georgia Military College and Georgia Technical College. Even the faculty and staff are involved! They are looking for volunteer projects and you can help! Students can participate in all kinds of manual labor, cleaning parks or buildings, painting rooms or walls, creating murals, working on beautification by gardening, etc... The goal is helping to improve the community. The main contact for volunteer projects is Emmanuel Little, the Director of Georgia College's Cultural Center. Contact him with any opportunities for these young adults to help out!
