Social Media Chamber U Seminar is Thursday

Members Invited to Mexico Export Meeting

Chamber members have a unique opportunity this week to hear how their business could expand into Mexican markets. The Chamber, in partnership with the Arkansas District Export Council, the Arkansas U.S. Export Assistance Center (USEAC), and ProMexico will be hosting an informative program Thursday, July 12 to highlight unique export opportunities into Mexico.
This opportunity features formal presentations from both the U.S. & Mexican Government economic and trade promotion agencies to highlight specific sector opportunities and discuss the impact of bilateral trade between the United States & Mexico. A business panel comprised of Arkansas business leaders will also be presented.
This free meeting is open to businesses with an interest in learning more about opportunities for export to Mexico but registration is required. The meeting will be held at the Springdale Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to Noon.

ACO Summer Musical Continues July 12-15

This recent Broadway hit pays melodious homage to the musicals of the early 20th century, and promises to set toes tapping and hearts humming with wonderful music and a classic girl-meets-boy, girl-gets-boy story line.

Teacher Breakfast Gift Collection Continues

| We'd like your business to help welcome the teachers of Springdale back to the new school year by donating one or more gifts that will be given away during the 45th annual Springdale Chamber Teacher Breakfast, August 15 & 16.
Each year, we conduct random drawings on both days of the event with lucky Springdale teachers going home with a great gift. Your business name is announced during the drawing and the winning teacher is given your business card along with the gift.

Library Offering Adult, Youth and Teen Programs

| The Springdale Public Library is offering a wide range of programs this week for adults, children and teens. The programs include writing workshops for teens and adults, a junior book club and story times for toddlers and preschool aged children.

Business Forecast Luncheon Set for August 8

The Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is partnering with the Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce to host a Quarterly Business Analysis luncheon on Wednesday, August 8. The event will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies on the campus of Northwest Arkansas Community College.
Kathy Deck, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research, will present a program that provides statistical highlights from the second quarter of 2012, key economic trends and projections, and immediate and long-term issues facing the regional and state economy.
The program will last for approximately 60 minutes including time for question and answer. The cost for the Quarterly Business Analysis program and luncheon is $35.
