Farm-City Week Event Tomorrow

he Chamber's Farm-City Week Event is from 11AM-1PM tomorrow, Wednesday, November 15 at The Music Man Square.
Join us for an Ag Expo on The Music
Man Square Streetscape. Following,
event-goers will move into the Reunion Hall for lunch featuring locally-sourced products and favorite game show, "Who Wants to Be a Farmer?".

Students Will Send Care Packages to Military "With Love, From YIELD"
This year's
YIELD
students have chosen to assemble and ship care packages to military men and women deployed overseas. The holidays will soon be upon us, and these heroes will be away from their families during this special time of year; a simple care package filled with letters from young people, snacks, personal items, and games/activities will brighten their holiday season. 
The students have named their program "With Love, From YIELD" to show their gratitude to our brave members of the armed forces. Students are encouraging North Iowans with deployed family members to supply
YIELD
with an overseas mailing address for their loved one. Students are soliciting local businesses for item donations and monetary donations from the public to cover shipping costs.
If you would like to make a donation to help, or if you would like a package sent to an active military family member, please contact

coordinator Allyson Krull by November 15.
