SAINT PAUL AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RELEASES FINDINGS OF 2011 SHARED SERVICES SURVEY
(SAINT PAUL, MINN., APRIL 6, 2011) - The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce released the findings from its 2011 Shared Services Survey today. The survey illustrates how local governments are working together to provide core services to residents and businesses during difficult financial times. "We believe that sharing services offers our public partners a significant opportunity to maintain and even improve the quality of municipal services without increasing the cost," said Matt Kramer, president of the Chamber. "By identifying the best practices already in use, we hope that municipalities will further examine the operations of their colleagues and emulate them to achieve further savings." Twelve cities in the East Metro completed the survey.
