September Business Over Breakfast
We are excited to bring you a new opportunity to get to know your fellow Chamber members in a relaxed setting. In lieu of a September luncheon, on Thursday, September 6, we will host a Business Over Breakfast at the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce office. There will be no formal program, just a chance to mingle, eat, and make business connections. The best part? It is FREE to our members!

Coffee from Scoops & Grinds and donuts will be served. Reservations are not required. 

Special thanks to Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home for sponsoring this breakfast event! 

Make plans to join us from 8:00 - 9:00 am on September 6 at 1126 W Main Street. Bring business cards to share with other attendees as well as any promotional materials you would like to leave in the office for us to distribute to our many visitors.

Earl Sears, our outgoing State Representative for District 11, will be our special guest speaker. Mr. Sears has enjoyed several years of service to the Collinsville area and we would love to honor him with a full house for a proper farewell! 

In addition to our new location, we have new caterers and the ability to pre-register online! If you pre-register by noon on October 2nd, you will receive a discounted price of $10 for lunch. You are also welcome to join us without a reservation for the price of $15. 

 
You don't have to be a Chamber member to attend -- all are welcome! Please invite your business colleagues who might be interested in the Collinsville Chamber or in hearing Mr. Sears speak.

Cover Photo Contest

Calling all photography lovers! We are working on a printed Community Guide and are looking for the perfect photo to go on the cover. We are now taking submissions in our Cover Photo Contest!

Here are the details:
1. Photos must be Collinsville-related, showing off our beautiful community
2. Photos must be submitted via email to [email protected] with the subject "Cover Photo Contest"
3. Photos must be high resolution and in portrait orientation
4. Submission of your photos gives us permission to use them, both in our community guide and in any future promotional material for the Chamber, including social media. Photo credits will be given.
5. The deadline to submit your photos is Monday, September 17 at noon

We can't wait to see how you all capture Collinsville! Be sure to share with anyone that might be interested. Good luck!

Turkey Bingo 2018
This November we will be hosting our 5th annual Turkey Bingo event in downtown Collinsville. This event serves as a fundraiser for the Chamber, replenishing our funds and allowing us to work hard for our members and for Collinsville. We know that November might not yet be on your radar, but it's time for us to start planning!

We want our prizes this year to be bigger and better than ever and we need your help! If you own a local business, would you please consider donating an item to serve as a prize? Some of our most popular prizes are gift cards, which also serve as a way to get new people into your business. Please contact Megan at the office if you'd like to donate an item.
