Wow!  What a week for CSU Swimming and Diving!  First a tremendous effort by our alumni during the 24 hours of CSU Giving Day 2016.  Then our teams turned in memorable performances at the Horizon League Championships.
Swimming / Diving Alumni are Giving Day Standout

CSU Swimming and Diving alumni  donated more than all other teams and colleges with a total of nearly $15,000 raised to honor Tom Smolinski for the Endowment in his name. This outstanding show of support came from 90 donors - NO OTHER TEAM OR COLLEGE HAD MORE PARTICIPATION !

There is much to be proud of and your successful effort  is one that Cleveland State University so appreciates. We were the # 1 Giving Group at CSU with a 2016 Giving Day participation rate second to none!

Men & Women Turn It On At Horizon League Championships

It has been a great week of accomplishments for the Vikings at the Horizon League Championships that ended yesterday! Philipp Sikatzki received honors as Horizon League "Swimmer of the Year" and "Swimmer of the Conference Championships". Paul Graham was the " Horizon League Men's Coach of the Year".  The Men were runner up in team scoring. The Women had great improvement this year also with several finalists.  Plus individual and team record breaking performances and Philipp will go to the SHOW (Division I Swimming & Diving Championships) which is the most difficult Championship in the world in which to qualify.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Alumni, and Congratulations to our Swimmers & Divers

Sincerely,
