The Chapman Cultural Center is expanding its hours and will be open on Sundays, 1-5 p.m., starting this November. To kick-off this new service to the community, for the month of November, patrons are asked to make donations to the Spartanburg Science Center and the Spartanburg Art Museum instead of paying the normal $4 per adult admission fee. The student galleries and the Artists' Guild of Spartanburg Gallery will be open and free as usual. In addition, to create a casual and creative environment for the Sunday afternoons at the Center, Chapman is coordinating with various local musicians and artists to provide free live music and art demonstrations on Sundays.
