Re-Enrollment Open January 1st

We wanted to let you know about a number of updates coming to the reenrollment process this year.

Early reenrollment for the 2018/19 school year will begin January 1st. Reenrollment is how you secure your spot for the next school year if you are a current SCS family. Early reenrollment will be open from January 1st to January 31st, open enrollment begins February 1st.

The fees for reenrollment are changing this year as well. The fee for early reenrollment is $150 per family from January 1st to January 31st. Beginning February 1st, the reenrollment fee raises to $250 per family.

Belongingness and Student Life
By: Jim Fox

“How do these kids find belonging and community in the somewhat chaotic environment that is high school?”

For the past 4 years I’ve been lucky enough to every now and again fill-in as a substitute teacher at Shoreline Christian. Last June my career in the substitutionary arts reached a new high when I became a long-term sub and was able to actually “teach” Psychology for a few weeks. Down in room 103 I started wondering how these very different kids from very different families and very different churches were able to find a sense of belonging as they navigated from classroom to classroom.
