The holiday season is hard on any and all Type A folks!!!!
Type A
The theory describes Type A individuals as ambitious, rigidly organized, highly status-conscious, sensitive, impatient, take on more than they can handle, want other people to get to the point, anxious, proactive, and concerned with time management.
People with Type A personalities are often high-achieving "workaholics", push themselves with deadlines, and hate both delays and ambivalence.[4]
In his 1996 book dealing with extreme Type A behavior,
Type A Behavior: Its Diagnosis and Treatment
, Friedman suggests that dangerous Type A behavior is expressed through three major symptoms:
(1) free-floating hostility, which can be triggered by even minor incidents;
(2) time urgency and impatience, which causes irritation and exasperation usually described as being "short-fused"; and
(3) a competitive drive, which causes stress and an achievement-driven mentality.
The first of these symptoms is believed to be covert and therefore less observable, while the other two are more overt. [5]
As a Type A person, I find it hard to impossible to RELAX-I want to "DO SOMETHING!!!!!!"
When I awoke this morning, (ditto), I AGAIN wanted to ACCOMPLISH something, even though residing in a holiday environment.
I have resumed practicing my guitar and taking vocal lessons but that is and was not enough for a Type A personality.
God spoke to me in the wee hours of this morn and showed me where I can improve:

I/WE can SEEK "TO DO JUSTLY, AND TO LOVE MERCY, AND TO WALK HUMBLY WITH THY GOD!!!"
And that, dear friends, MUST begin at home!!!!
SMILE!! WHY is it that WE shower and shave, put on good smelling odors, and present our best foot to those OUTSIDE our homes than in?????
WE are too often more pleasant and kinder to total strangers than those closest to OUR hearts.

The absolute HARDEST place to be a Christian is INSIDE our own homes!!!
Do WE too often "HIDE FROM OUR OWN FLESH!!??"
