Ladies: do you enjoy catching up with your girlfriends, sipping champagne, empowering other women, and supporting female oriented causes? If so, then CharityLadies is for you!
Please join us for the July CharityLadies to celebrate woman entrepreneur and owner of Teddies for Bettys Ashley Kelsch and Ford Warrior in Pink Natalie Young. The evening will feature complimentary champagne and delicious dessert from Sara Belle's bakery as we support and benefit the Susan G. Komen Austin Affiliate.
As your donation to our beneficiary Susan G. Komen, please bring one or more of the follow generic in-kind items (gently used or new please): blankets, pajama pants with button-up tops, head scarves, warm socks with grips on the bottom, and HEB gift cards.

Be a 2013 Citizen Generation Beneficiary
It is time again to apply to be a beneficiary of Citizen Generation. Each year we have been thrilled with the number of applications from incredible local nonprofits, and we are hoping this year will be no different. With our programs CharityBash, CharityLadies, and CharityVolunteers, there is more opportunity than ever to work with a diversified group of beneficiaries and involve and help more Austinites to achieve our mission, "Creating the Habit of Giving."
We have opened the 2013 beneficiary application on our website, and it will remain open for two months. After receiving your application and $10 fee, we will review all applications regarding how well they fit into any one of our programs and how each potential beneficiary's mission and cause aligns with our work and the interests of our audience. You should expect a response by September notifying you of the status of your application. We encourage every nonprofit to apply to be a 2013 Citizen Generation beneficiary, and help us do even more influential work in Austin. Please let us know if you have any questions.

June CharityVolunteers Recap
Thank you to the 45 volunteers that came out on June 9th to lend a hand to Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary, Multicultural Refugee Coalition, and Susan G. Komen Austin! Together, we donated 135 hours, which takes a lot off of the plates of the nonprofit staff/volunteers. Big thanks to event sponsors Deep Eddy Vodka, Promotions at Work, Doc's Bar & Grill, Waterloo Icehouse, and Honest Tea! Thank you!
