Leadership Murray Seeking Applicants for 2013-2014 Session

Co-leaders Lori McDaniel and Brett James are looking for a few good men and women for the 2013-14 Leadership Murray Session.  Sponsored by the Chatsworth-Eton-Murray County Chamber of Commerce, this is a great program for those who live or work in Murray County.

The fun, informative sessions are held once a month from August through April and usually only take a few hours.

"If you'd like to learn more about the Murray community, what the needs and challenges are for our community and how you might be able to fit in to a leadership role, this is the class for you," said co-leader Lori McDaniel.  "It is a small, intimate group, and you learn as much from each other as you do from the sessions themselves.

"The sessions were short and didn't take up too much of the work day.  The topics, like economic development, education, government and growth of the Murray community, were of great interest to me.  I feel much better informed about my home now.  And for the 2013-14 session, we will be adding a session for the arts in Murray." said McDaniel

If you'd like to apply to be a candidate for Leadership Murray, please email Lori McDaniel at lorimcdaniel@charter.net.  The cost is $325 per year.
