We hope you'll join us for LAAC's first FREE "Civil Rights for People and Families Impacted by Incarceration" training in Downtown Oakland on Tuesday, January 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

This event will feature two panels presented by Bay Area legal aid organizations aimed at providing legal services attorneys with training and education in issues around re-entry, incarceration, and detention and offer 2.5 hours of MCLE, including 1.25 of ethics credit. Seating is limited so register now

  • Finding Housing with a Record or in Reentry: Cutting Edge Legal Issues & Advocacy 
  • Violence Against People in Detention, Institutions and Prison

Self-Represented Litigation Network Springboard Conference
 
WHAT: The Self-Represented Litigation Network's first annual two-day in-person national conference for lawyers, judges, clerks of court, self-help services professionals, librarians, technologists, funders and other allied professionals to explore and develop successful strategies and new thinking for providing 100% access to justice.
