DVFBC Community News & Upcoming Programs
Launching a Women's Lab in 2018

We've been holding focus groups to learn from our members and discuss important challenges facing family businesses.

What became clear was a growing need for more support for women in the family business, so to that end, in January we will be launching a new program, Q Lab (a virtual 12 week peer group). Our first Q Lab of 2018 will be comprised of women in family businesses.  To learn more about our Q Labs, email  Trina  or  Scott .

"Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Focus Group today! I really enjoyed it, and the "oh, you too?" moments! I very much affirm the direction of strengthening support & education for women in family business. It really is such a unique place to sit in. Looking forward to joining Q Lab in 2018 and continuing to grow with you!" - Katie Miller,  Sight & Sound Theatres

Our latest blog discusses how both women and men who lead with their voices create purposeful communication and clarity in how to move themselves and their family business forward.

We're eagerly looking forward to the educational events we have scheduled. Mark your calendars for our Leadership in the Family Business Mini-Conference on March 16. Keynote Speaker Mitzi Perdue will address "Designing a High Functioning Family Culture". Download our 2018 calendar here and keep an eye on our website as we post more details.
