CUP NEWS

We at the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) are excited to announce that on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, CUP is participating in   #GivingTuesday .

#GivingTuesday is a global celebration after Thanksgiving that connects diverse groups of individuals, communities, and organizations around the world for one common purpose: to celebrate and encourage giving. On this day, hundreds of thousands of donors are going to show their support for their favorite organizations and we invite you to join the movement and donate to CUP.

As you know, CUP makes a difference by preparing high-performing professionals of color and women for the rise to senior leadership roles within financial services, legal, media & entertainment, non-profit, and public sectors. Your generous support to CUP enables us to continue to do this important work to develop diverse emerging leaders, which is needed now more than ever.

#GivingTuesday is going to be a BIG event, and everyone will be talking about who they are supporting and why. We need champions like you to help us with these three things:
  • Mark #GivingTuesday on Your Calendar
  • Follow Us on Social Media
  • Spread the Word!
Together, we hope to raise $5,000 on #GivingTuesday and we need your help.  Every dollar donated to CUP on #GivingTuesday will help us in the pursuit of racial, ethnic, and gender parity in the highest business and civic leadership positions in the U.S.

Join us on Facebook and Twitter (#CUPGivingTuesday) so you can share in the excitement of the giving day and remember to give on November 29th. We can't wait to celebrate the difference your generosity will make.

P.S. CUP is registered with  AmazonSmile ! While doing your holiday shopping or taking advantage of  Black Friday or  Cyber Monday , use smile.amazon.com to shop and  Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the Council of Urban Professionals Institute . You'll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, but also be supporting CUP!
