Voters Reminded to Check Their Registration Now for the General Election Nov. 8th
We would like to remind voters to check on their voter registration well in advance of October 18, the deadline to register for the Presidential Election November 8. 

This is particularly important if you registered through the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission.  The registration forms can sometimes be forwarded to an incorrect county commissioner of registration office. It is especially important to double-check when your postal zip code could indicate an address in a different county, such as 08540.

To check that you are registered to vote, go to the State of NJ Voter Registration Search webpage and enter your full legal name and month and year of birth.

On this same page, you may also confirm your polling place by providing your home street address under "Polling Place Search".

OR you may confirm your information by contacting the Somerset County Board of Elections at (908) 231-7000.
