Move-In Pass System opens today
For students moving in August 22-24 only

All residential students moving in during assisted new student move-in on August 22, 23, and 24 must download and print a move-in pass.  The Move-In Pass System can be accessed through your  MySlice starting at noon EST today.

We anticipate a high volume of users trying to access the Move-In Pass System when it opens at noon.  We ask for your patience during this process.

For more information about how to download your move-in pass, please review the 'How to download a new student Move-In Pass' tutorial.
Upload your SU I.D. Card Photo
Deadline is August 1st

Your SU I.D. card serves as your official University identification and will give you access to a variety of venues and services. Upload your photo by August 1st and your I.D. card will be ready for you when you check-in to your residence hall or from the Housing, Meal Plan and I.D. Card Service Center for those living off campus.

For more information, visit the ID Card Photo Upload website.
Shipping your stuff

UPS, Federal Express, and other parcel services deliver to Syracuse University, but not directly to your room or apartment.  Packages will be delivered to your hall's designated, secure mail delivery location, generally near the front desk of your residence hall.

You can send packages to your campus address.  Remember to include your full address, which varies depending on where you live on campus.  See page 3 of the Syracuse Welcome Guide for information about your address.

Packages will be available for pickup starting on Tuesday, August 22. Do not ship anything you will need immediately. Packages will be accepted from shipping companies at the residence hall front desks starting on Friday, August 18. Do not ship your belongings more than 5 days in advance of your move-in date, otherwise they risk being returned to the sender.

The Carrier Dome

The Carrier Dome is the only domed stadium in the Northeast, and is the largest structure of its kind on a college campus in the country.
Since its opening on September 20, 1980, the facility has hosted a wide variety of events. The facility serves as the home of SU football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's lacrosse. Furthermore, the "Dome" has hosted numerous rounds of NCAA championships in basketball, lacrosse and track and field; and hosts regional and state scholastic competitions in football, as well as NBA pre-season games. In addition to sporting events, the Dome has staged Olympic champion ice skating shows, as well as many concerts.
