I love Christmas! This season always reminds me of what is most important in my life. I love slowing down and spending time with my family. You can let  Santa know that we offer gift certificates, and we are also here to help you get started or continue your journey with essential oils. 

As I reflect over the past year and how Core Studio has evolved into very specific training for many of our clients, I am humbled by the numerous clients who trust us to...simply put, get strong. I asked permission to share Tanja's photo in this newsletter. Tanja is a recipient of Core Compassion Project, and hopes she can inspire other amputees through her progress. Tanja comes in each week with a smile on her face ready to work. I am inspired and very proud of both Tanja and her teacher, Sarah!

As you set goals for 2018, I hope you will consider including a consistent fitness routine. It is not optional if you truly want to take care of your body. I'd also like to invite you to a very special Vision Board class I am teaching alongside Life Coach and Owner of MSA Coaching, Martha S. Allen. We want to help you set goals for 2018! 9:00-9:50 Pre/Postnatal  Pilates Mat Series

Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27, Feb. 3
Cost: $100

This Mat-based class series is designed to prepare you for labor feeling fit and strong or help reverse the effects of pregnancy on your body. Focus is on toned abs, back and pelvic floor muscles, resulting in a more comfortable pregnancy.  Class emphasis is also on breathing to improve oxygen supply to both mom and baby, decrease shortness of breath, and aid in breathing during labor. Postnatal students will work to strengthen and tighten the pelvic floor and core muscles. This class is safe for all trimesters, Diastasis Recti and Cesarean recovery.



 10:00-10:50 Barre Fusion Series

Meet Laura at the Barre and take your body to the next level with Barre Fusion! This class is a fusion of the Barre technique and traditional Pilates Mat exercises. Together with the principles of Pilates Mat and the Barre's muscle burning isometric small movements , this class will help you achieve a sleeker, leaner and stronger physique. Pilates is a body-conditioning system that is designed to lengthen, strengthen, and tone the body. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body working from the deepest layers of muscles. This class is the perfect mix of core work, leg strengthening, and low impact exercises to burn fat and build lean muscle.  Barre Fusion workshop will be Saturdays!

Have you been curious about Pilates? Take the plunge and see for yourself what it's all about! Pilates is a body-conditioning system that is designed to lengthen, strengthen, and tone the body.  In this class series you will learn the basics of Pilates, from working on the breath, explaining and doing the basic movements, to taking time to explore what simple instructions, like 'engage the core', really mean! You'll leave a little stronger and more aligned, equipped with the knowledge to decide if Pilates is right for you. This workshop is meant for beginning students who are experiencing Pilates for the first time. This series  will teach you: STOTT PILATES Basic Principles, Explore Essential Level exercises on Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac and Chair & Strengthen and tone your body.  Class size limited.
